Folding Circle
02:54
|
|||
When I discard my worries
They will pour down with rain
If I return tomorrow I'll be the same
I left out on the long road
And I was sometimes fine
Breaking out the signals
Of my mind
Now a folding circle
Draws me in with signs
The aging of the new world
Is the dancing of time
Now the mystery is open
And it's drawing all the crowds
But I am turning away
Wondering how
So I come before the sunlight
To see that which never fails
And I will place my feet down
Upon this trail..

Way of Freedom
02:11
|
|||
I wake to the day it is early and softly raining
The air is cool I have nothing to do, I'm happy
I dreamed of a hill. It had a cloud above it
And I'd like to find it again.
Lying alone while the light was breaking over
Turning around to the window and all of the shadows
Above it was bright, looking down upon me
A quiet night in my home
The way of the world is not the way of freedom
What is remains what is right through a change
To overcome and to be open
Without a fear to own.

Cold Winter Morning
02:46
|
|||
I can hear the wind of a cold winter morning
Covering the ground undisturbed by the night
A blanket lying softly painted in a moment
Waiting for the day to rise
Everything will come let it flow with the water
And underneath the moon we'll be one again
Letting down the curtains, closing the door
Is it that we see no more?
Beyond your aching, beyond your world
Throwing all your hope into the wild
No where do you feel at home..
Looking out and through and old thought I held to
Could it be I feel too deep in my bones?
There is not a day that I won't be thinking
Clear me of the earthly ways.
Older with the years all you find is tomorrow
Walking through the town as the people come and go
Learning to be calm while life takes you further
Along with everything you know

Time Beyond Me
03:26
|
|||
There's time beyond me in the calm of dawn
Tell all the children that nature is home
Fade light to darkness aging the land
Live in the beauty.. the long, long plan.
I hear the water fall on the road
In the mind I‘m thinking
In the heart I know.
To be on a journey, to be on the way
To return to where I will be today
In the right direction, I've turned around
The falling thoughts rise to die in the ground

More Than I Know
03:43
|
|||
Here I am once more, my circle is done
And what‘s left in the middle of a weakened one?
My eyes are falling on the easy ground
My thoughts are noticed by a deeper sound
And why bother you at all?
It seems what we had is gone
To the future untold, I go.
Not taking more than I know
Through lines I have written, and through walls in my head
I see the night fading, but why can't I understand?
So I will move on now. I may drift for a while
The morning will pass me in an old fashioned style

Wait it Out
02:51
|
|||
The dream came to awaken all the people
The door was opened to a light wave
And I moved within, finding it all.
Back to the only place I've needed
One more move away from illusion
And through my reflection the old one is gone
The day blooms from the night undone but gently
The bridge forms before the eyes of hunger
The world turns uneasy and I wait it out..

Take Nothing if I Leave
03:14
|
|||
Closing in the emptiness,
Silent in the night like a star
Breaking everything we know
Believing only what we've been told
No place to be losing
Trust sinking in the sea
Bound for a shore of beauty
I'll take nothing if I leave
When you capture what you want
A song coming from a lonely mind
A forest in the breathing mist
A solitary moving shadow's grip.

Sweeping Days
03:34
|
|||
Wake all my thoughts for I must carry on
Through mist and bones to find a weary home
So long to fall as the leaves return
Sweeping up my past, will the light now start?
When the old days have settled low
When the time has gone
I will call from the only place
From where I have flown.
Courtesy that union ties, to shelter all the blinding waves
Revealing what hearts conceal, and a promise to be healed
My state of folding comes buckling under every bridge
Straying from the only one, and rivers that will never run

All Falls Quiet
02:38
|
|||
Soon skies will come to be
Clear as a stream made pure
All clouds will change in time
So long to the days of winter
And light shifts on water
Patterns dance their song
It all falls quiet when you're gone
I told my darker half
That we would never part
And no sign is warning me
That changes are moving fast
I'm drawn to my only warmth
Where hearts are never cold
And some folks will always weep
Until their tears are old
